Trudy Gage
Vice President of Equine Sales and Client Education
Trudy Gage joined the Zomedica leadership team in October 2021 when the company, Pulse Veterinary Technologies, LLC (“PulseVet”), was acquired. She resides in the Thumb of Michigan, where she owns and operates Gage Show Horses, a small horse farm, where she breeds, shows, and loves a few select Quarter Horses. Gage is proud to be named as the Breeder on some world class horses and enjoys watching them go on and find success in the Show Ring. Gage herself was awarded a top ten placing (3rd) at the prestigious All-American Pen Quarter Horse Congress in 2022. Gage made her debut in Ranch Riding pen with High Brow Legend, aka Wiley.
Gage has been passionate about horses her entire life, starting with a pony as a young child, her parents often jokingly say, most children outgrow this! Gage is more passionate than ever, continuing what she calls a life-long journey of continuous learning shared with her beloved horses. Gage has been involved in many equine-related world-class careers, joining PulseVet in 2009, her history includes working as a certified riding instructor, holding several judges’ cards, and even hosting a radio show called “Horsing Around with Trudy”. She is looking forward to raising more babies she is expecting in 2024, with plans to compete at some Quarter Horse Shows this year. The only other thing Gage is passionate about is dogs! From fundraising to fostering, Gage has been involved with many rescue dog groups; she is happy to help. Gage shares her farm and home with her border collie Snickers and plans to add another border collie family member or two, very soon!
